Neurodiversity describes the natural variation in how human brains work. It affects how we process information, interact socially, focus, and experience the world. While it includes everyone, neurodivergence is commonly linked to ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, Tourette’s, and more. Around one in seven people are neurodivergent, highlighting the importance of understanding and supporting these differences.
Welcome to a space designed for you. Whether you’re looking for support, understanding, or simply somewhere safe to be yourself, I offer therapy tailored to neurodivergent individuals.
Counselling can feel daunting, especially when standard approaches don’t fit your experience. As someone who is neurodivergent myself, I understand the unique challenges—communication differences, sensory sensitivities, and the feeling of not quite belonging.
My approach recognises that neurodivergence isn’t something to fix. It’s part of who you are. Here, your needs and preferences are respected. You’re welcome to communicate however you feel most comfortable—through talking, writing, art, or other ways.
In this space, I prioritise:
Together, we’ll create space to explore what feels important, build on what’s already working, and find new ways to feel more at home in yourself.
ADHD
While I welcome all neurodivergent clients, I have a particular interest in ADHD. This comes from my own lived experience and research.
ADHD affects each person differently - impacting work, relationships, and daily life. Together, we’ll explore what makes your experience unique. We’ll look at who you are today and who you want to become.
I’ve supported neurodivergent tweens, teens, adults, and families for many years. Whether you’re starting to wonder about yourself, supporting someone close to you, or building the courage to seek a diagnosis, you’re welcome here.
NEURODIVERGENT ADULTS
Coming to terms with a diagnosis can be complex. You may feel shock, anger, or grief for the years spent misunderstood. Some mourn the life they might have had if they’d known sooner. Acceptance often grows over time—by building understanding, connecting with others, and exploring new ways to navigate daily life. The right support, medication, and finding what works best for you can all help.
Ultimately, acceptance means recognising that neurodivergence is woven through every part of who you are, and recognising this can help you build a life that feels authentic. It’s about understanding your needs, building on your strengths, and creating a life that feels authentic. This process isn’t linear - setbacks are normal. With time and support, it can lead to greater peace and self-acceptance.
SUPPORT FOR NEURODIVERGENT ADULTS
If you’re looking for support and psycho-education as a neurodivergent adult, I offer personalised therapy to help you explore your identity, strengths, and challenges. Through evidence-based strategies and a compassionate space, we’ll build self-awareness, resilience, and confidence.
SUPPORT FOR ADHD COUPLES
I work with couples where one or both partners have ADHD. Together, we create space for honest communication and understanding. We’ll explore the impact of ADHD on your relationship and look for ways to navigate challenges while staying connected. Alongside therapy, I offer psycho-education and coaching. Understanding how your brain is wired, and getting to know your ADHD traits and how they show up day-to-day can be a powerful step towards acceptance and growth.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS
Parenting a neurodivergent child or teen often comes with unique questions and decisions. As a parent who’s navigated this myself, I offer space to share what’s on your mind, explore what matters to your family, and look for approaches that feel right for you.
Whatever brings you here, you’re welcome to get in touch to talk about how I can help.
