I was born and brought up in Moray and have lived here almost all of my life. I am married with have two grown up children,, and one grandchild.
Helping people was always something I was naturally drawn to and enjoyed, so training to be a counsellor and carrying out this role in my daily life is something I am very passionate about. I see myself as a mirror to your thoughts and feelings, allowing you the space to explore the challenges you're currently facing.
My focus is to help you find understanding, clarity, and become aware of your inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a safe space, listening to your concerns in an empathic and understanding way. Often when we get caught up in the mire of our struggles we sometimes forget our hopes and dreams, and particularly who we used to be. Clarity through counselling can bring our focus back to ourselves.
I work in a person-centred way to allow you the time and space to explore your feelings. I work mainly from my home but can also travel to you for sessions meaning you don't have to leave the house if this is difficult for you.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. View me as your life jacket until you learn to swim with confidence again.
Whatever you're currently facing in life, get in touch to start your journey to a deeper understanding and healing.
